CEGE graduate students received competitive awards at the 6th Annual Celebration of Academic Excellence event held by FAU’s College of Engineering and Computer Science in Gangal Hall on February 19th.

Nithish Manikkavasam, M.S. Student (Geomatics Engineering concentration) received First prize at the FSMS (Florida Surveying and Mapping Society) Broward chapter’s GIS Day Map Contest

Saeid Zare Naghadehi who is a Ph.D. student in the department won the ASPRS map contest award on the GIS Day. The award was released on Nov. 15, 2023
