2027 Owl New Play Festival
听April 10-25, 2027
Now in its third year, the Owl New Play Festival, presented by Theatre Lab and the Department of Theatre & Dance at Florida Atlantic, invites theatre-goers and new play enthusiasts from around the country to join us in Boca Raton for some of the most exciting new work in the American Theatre!
As with past years, the two full productions in the festival are connected by a common theme. The 2027 Owl New Play Festival highlights the true stories of women who were forgotten by or erased from history. On April 10, 2027, Theatre Lab opens their world premiere production of Recognition by Ken Weitzman. The following weekend marks the opening of The Devil鈥檚 Wheel, a new play by Vincent Delaney, produced by the Department of Theatre & Dance.听
Over three weeks in April, you and your friends from around the country are invited to join us to experience these two shows, lectures/discussions on the themes found in the work, readings of more new plays!听
