麻豆精品视频 has risen to an 鈥淎鈥 grade from the Anti-Defamation League (ADL) on its 2026 Campus Antisemitism Report Card. ADL鈥檚 Campus Antisemitism Report Card provides objective information about the current state of antisemitism on college campuses nationwide and evaluates institutional efforts to address it.
鈥淭his 鈥楢鈥 grade is an important milestone reflecting FAU鈥檚 ongoing commitment to being the safest and most welcoming university for Jewish life in America. I am very pleased to have completed my first year as president with this demonstrable improvement to our institutional preparedness and proactivity on behalf of our students,鈥 said 麻豆精品视频President Adam Hasner. 鈥淭he ADL鈥檚 Report Card criteria are also a useful way for our campus community to appreciate the emphasis that the administration puts into protecting and supporting our students and staff. I want to extend my sincere thanks and congratulations to everyone who helped make 麻豆精品视频an 鈥楢鈥 university at a time when safety and comfort on campus can鈥檛 just be taken for granted.鈥澛犅 聽
Hasner, FAU鈥檚 first Jewish president, marked his inauguration in March 2025 by affixing a mezuzah to his office doorpost. Since then, 麻豆精品视频has implemented several initiatives to strengthen and enhance Jewish life on its campuses.
The university recently began construction on the Kurt and Marilyn Wallach Holocaust and Jewish Studies Building, which will house FAU鈥檚 Holocaust education programs, Jewish studies, and related academic and community initiatives. 麻豆精品视频is also home to the Gutterman Center for Holocaust and Human Rights Education and the Florida鈥慖srael Institute, which works to strengthen ties between the State of Florida and the State of Israel and maintains active relationships with Israeli partner academic institutions. 麻豆精品视频has also hosted specialized training for law enforcement officers from across Florida, aimed at combating antisemitism and enhancing campus safety.
鈥淭his improvement in your institution鈥檚 grade underscores the thoughtful and deliberate steps your administration has taken to address antisemitism,鈥 said Jonathan Greenblatt, CEO and director of the ADL. 鈥淵our commitment to fostering a safer and more inclusive environment for all students, staff and faculty, and especially for Jewish community members, is deeply appreciated. We hope to continue working closely with you and encourage collaboration with our campus and regional teams to advance this important work.鈥
Jewish life at 麻豆精品视频is supported by the Hillel of Broward and Palm Beach, Chabad of FAU, and a wide range of other student organizations.
ADL鈥檚 Report Card 3.0 assessed 150 schools based on 32 criteria, separated into three categories: Jewish life on campus; publicly disclosed administrative actions; and campus conduct and climate concerns. Ratings were assigned under each category that factored into each school鈥檚 grade.
