Program Description
All Âé¶¹¾«Æ·ÊÓÆµbusiness and pre-business majors are invited to this 3-week international business program in Dublin, Ireland. Students will stay in modern housing in the historic heart of Dublin near Trinity College and the city’s most famous sites. Classes will take place at the historic Oscar Wilde House. Program includes Âé¶¹¾«Æ·ÊÓÆµclasses, visits to companies such as the Guinness Brewery and Jameson Distilleries, and a full program of events and activities, including day trips to some of Ireland's most famous sites, such as the Giant's Causeway, the Cliffs of Moher, Dunluce Castle, Belfast, Kilkenny and the Wicklow Mountains.
Students will earn 3-6 credits toward their Âé¶¹¾«Æ·ÊÓÆµdegree. There are 24 spots available on this delightful program! Register early.....if you have the Luck o' the Irish on your side there will be a spot for you!

If you have already taken the required course, you may have it classified as one of the other listed courses. Classes will take place Monday-Thursday from 10:00-11:30am and are taught in English by COB Professor Joseph Patton. Routine processing times can take 6-8 weeks, and expedited applications in 2-3 weeks. Processing times begin when your application is received by a passport agency or center, and do not include mailing times. It may take up to 2 weeks for your application to be received by passport agency, and up to 2 weeks for you to receive your completed passport after agency mails it to you. Therefore, you should add an additional 4 weeks to you passport application processing time.Ìý

- Must be in good academic standing at the time of application

Location
Dublin, the capital of Ireland, is located on the country’s east coast along the Irish Sea. Known for its rich history and vibrant culture, it’s a hub for business, technology, and the arts.
Housing
Student accomodations will be at StayCity Aparthotel Dublin City Quay about a 10-minute walk to American College Dublin (ACD). This accodmation is in a central location right off the River Liffey with a studio layout and twin beds. Each room is fully equipped with a kitchen alongisde 24-hour reception, fitness center and a cafe.

Program fee: $4,197 + tuition for the courses associated/required for the programÌý
Program fee payment deadlines:
1ST PAYMENT:Ìý Ìý Ìý $1,399.00 within 5 days of application acceptance or by March 1 (whichever comes first)
2ND PAYMENT:Ìý Ìý $1,399.00 within 60 days of application acceptance or by March 1 (whichever comes first)
3RD PAYMENT:Ìý Ìý Ìý$1,399.00 final balance due by March 15
Accepted participants will receive detailed payment instructions from the Education Abroad team via email after application deadline.Ìý

HEALTH, SAFETY AND TRAVEL DOCUMENTATION
All students must attend pre-departure sessions prior to study abroad. Education Abroad and your program faculty leaders will provide you with further details pertaining to dates, times, and location in the semester before your program.Ìý
1) Mandatory pre-departure orientation hosted by the Education Abroad office. This session will cover general international travel related topics such as health, safety, insurance, and travel tips.Ìý
2) Mandatory pre-departure meeting hosted by program faculty leader. This session will cover program and location specific information such as arrival, expectations, itinerary, and course overview.
International health and travel insurance
All Âé¶¹¾«Æ·ÊÓÆµstudents participating on an Âé¶¹¾«Æ·ÊÓÆµFaculty-led Program will be registered in international health and travel insurance coverage through Cultural Insurance Services International (CISI). This mandatory insurance ensures that students have access to medical and emergency support services while abroad. This is included in the program cost.

- Reduced risk of denied entry if a country requires vaccination for entry
- Reduced risk of having to get vaccinated abroad if it becomes mandatory in the country of study

- Reduced risk of denied acceptance into campus housing or host accommodations abroad
- Reduced risk of spreading COVID-19 and its variants to other parts of the world, including the communities where we have programs

- The WHO and U.S. CDC agree that the vaccine helps reduce the risk of serious illness and helps prevent the spread of COVID-19

Regarding increased access because of being vaccinated, please be aware that businesses and services may legally restrict access to exclude unvaccinated individuals. Local ordinances may allow the same. In such cases, Âé¶¹¾«Æ·ÊÓÆµwon’t be able to intervene or advocate on your behalf.
