I'm Anca, a PhD candidate in Computer Science and Artificial Intelligence, and I also serve as a Graduate Teaching Assistant in the College of Engineering and Computer Science. Originally from Romania, I bring a unique international perspective that I鈥檓 proud to share. As a Global Ambassador, I'm passionate about helping international students feel welcomed, supported, and empowered. I strongly believe that together we can enrich our community and drive innovation. Outside of academics, I enjoy exploring nature and going on bike rides.

I'm Deepak, a PhD student from Nepal in the Department of Mathematics and Statistics, specializing in Applied Statistics and Machine Learning. My current research focuses on crime analysis and forecasting in urban areas, where I apply machine learning techniques to tackle real-world challenges. As a Global Ambassador, I'm passionate about education, global collaboration, and making a positive impact in the community. I enjoy supporting others, building meaningful connections, and spending my free time walking and playing ping pong/tennis.
