Congressman Deutch Announces $2.24 million Javits Grant at A.D. Henderson

Congressman Ted Deutch presented the Javits Gifted and Talented Students Education Program Grant to A.D. Henderson & 麻豆精品视频High School. The award is to help gifted and talented students from all backgrounds excel and begin receiving college credits early. The grant comes from the US Department of Education's Javits Gifted and Talented Students Education Program, which supports programs that help talented K-12 students, including those from low-income families, limited English language proficiency, and students with disabilities, excel in gifted programs at their schools.

The grant will total $2.24 million over five years and will serve to enhance and replicate the model at 麻豆精品视频High School and A.D. Henderson University School.

Javits Gifted and Talented Students Education Program federal grant,鈥 said , dean of the 麻豆精品视频College of Education. 鈥淭his recognition validates the hard work of our faculty and staff. Grants like this have enabled our school district to continue to develop and provide an educational platform that will continue to impact our student body as well as serve as an example for other schools.鈥
